Custom Chants Not Working ?

I had them working fine in Fifa 12, but upon following exactly the same process this time round, they're not working - although custom menu music is, nothing in the match is working.

Has anyone got these damn things working? Fifa 12's matches had a great atmosphere thanks to that feature, even lower league teams. Now, lower leagues sound completely generic.

You know I haven't really checked yet but if the chants need to be louder its an easy fix.

They defintivley need to be louder, but not by increasing their db or something like that. I don't know where to fix it in the data.

OK, they are working - you're right, they're very quiet but they are working. Maybe if we try reducing the overall crowd volume and turning the system sound up a bit (or TV if you're on console?) That should produce the desired effect, without losing the default crowd sounds which are in some places very good this year. :)

The ones in my thread were made to work as is with last years game and commentary volume at 7 or 8. If there is a file that can be edited to fix ingame chant volume level please some let me know.

The commentary-level is not important for the chants. the default chants by ea are louder.
I can't tell you, how to fix the parameters in the data, i'm sure there are some. My customization is nothing more than chants, scoreboard and some adboards.

First of all I dont use default chants because they are crap and I have a thread with about 14 GB worth posted, second of all the commentary is way too loud but I do have a 5.1 system hooked up to the pc so maybe thats just my issue.

did anyone find a way to increase chant/user music volume somewhere within the game files? This is aggravating. I added a custom soundtrack for the menus, and can barely hear them with the volume pumping at 10 and my PC volume all the way up.

If anyone might be interested I have a thread dedicated to stadium ambience and some chants that have been pushed and levelled, it all comes with sound-cloud demo audio of it all in-game.

Through doing this I have noticed that you have to literally smash the audio to max to get something decent in 13, also note that the engine dips the chants as you get near goal either end so the vanilla game crowed screams kick in over it. Also found that lowering crowed main volume actually lowers chants at the same time, so unlike 12 you cant have chants much louder than crowed .. classic EA moment, and to me its a bug IE you cant have crowed at 7 and chants at 10 .. because crowed at 7 = chants at 7 overall.

Or the most obvious test is set chants to 10 ... set crowed to 0 .... you wont get anything at all. Which to me is wrong becuase chants slider should be independent of crowed overall, and makes the point of having chants volume slider redundant (when it comes to the fact you need to make it louder than crowed not lower).

Anyway heres my link (also in sig):

Rather than just a shameless plug, check the post about using Xfi sound card with the audio in game example posted, if you really want to beat the low volumes, short of editing, a dedicated xfi type card can boost it perfectly. With Xfi and its control panel boosts I now have to turn it all down :)

heres a direct link to the post about Xfi:
