Doing Transfers During A Tournament?

I don't remember something... If I'm playing a Premier League for example, is there any PC program that will allow me to get into my league and edit squads to complete winter transfers or any other transactions? I don't think you can actually manage transactions within a season.

Thanks!

As far as I know, you can't for an ongoing career. The db won't match your saved career so it won't work.

I only play individual tournaments, single seasons. I don't do career or anything that creates transactions that don't happen in real life. I'm just talking about a single Premier League, and I want to know if I can go in in January with some program and move players around that are transfered in the transfer window.

the same applies for tournaments too
Ok, thank you. So as far as you know there is nothing either as a PC application or even an in game mode that will give me that level of control of my team and the other teams.
Fine, so my only option if I want real life accurate squads all year would be to do what I've done in the past and wait until January when all the player moves happen and start my league then? I can't believe this is the only sports game that doesn't let you control player transactions. I find that strange.

I've been reading your posts on Operation Sports for a decade so you know better than this. Which sports series in the past 15 years allows full control of CPU teams' rosters, lineups, etc? I can think of exactly zero. So no, it is not strange, it is in fact the norm with sports games. FYI, in tourney mode, FIFA allows you to control all teams, so there is one viable option for you. Option two is to check out Fidel's new career mode editor and see if that's of any help.

First of all, I don't need your disciplining. I "should know better"? Pretty condescending.
Secondly, to answer your question... MLB The Show, MVP Baseball, Triple Play Baseball, MLB 2K, Madden NFL, NBA 2K, College Hoops, EA NHL, NHL Faceoff, the former NHL 2K, and that's without loading up several others that could do it as well when you put on their inidividual variations of full team control.
Controlling all teams in FIFA doesn't give you ANY options whatsoever to also handle January transactions. I will look at that career mode editor but those kinds of tools don't tend to allow for editing or modifying of single season tournament modes.

No. I have never played NBA games so I can't speak for them. But as for the others on your list, they do not allow Users to edit CPU teams in career mode. The inability to edit CPU teams in career mode is the norm, the last time Madden allowed it was 1999 or something.

Oh and hey, you are welcome regarding the other stuff I shared with you, nice response on your part bitching about whatever when I actually provided you with usable info.

I did give you a break. I replied to you despite you being condescending. And if you've been around for so long as well then I'm surprised you haven't seen that saying things like "you should know better" will get you the reaction you got from me.

Secondly, you are correct, I mentioned that I'd try the application but didn't thank you for mentioning it. I apologise. Thank you for telling me about the career editor.

Thirdly I did say rather clearly, "I only play individual tournaments, single seasons. I don't do career or anything that creates transactions that don't happen in real life." so I assumed it was undertstood that I was talking about modes that are usually called Season, Single Season, Tournament but not anything like Career which never let you control more than one team at a time. In any other single season mode, and in The Show even in Franchise, full control is an option as it is elsewhere. What I'm asking for isn't crazy.

Thank you again.
