Edited Data Doesn't Show Up In Game

Hey lads,

I want to use the Creation Master 13 for edit different things in FIFA 13 like player's attributes, traits, faces etc. The tool itself is running without any problems but if I change anything in the db, the changes don't appear ingame. It's quite strange because if I load the db with CM after editing and saving the changes are still there, but as I said above they don't show up in FIFA itself. I'm running both CM and FIFA as an administrator and I already regenerated my whole FIFA 13 folder after editing.

Anybody got an idea how to get rid of that problem?

Greetings and thanks in advance

Simply delete the squads file in your my documents/FIFA 13 folder and the game will read your database changes. ;)

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I already did this. Any other ideas?

After editing the db with CM 13, you only need to save, you don't need to regenerate. You only need to regenerate if you make changes to the data0, data1 files etc. Try that and see if that solves your problem. Past that, I have no idea what your issue is if you in fact deleted your old squads save files. Never heard of anyone having this particular problem before.

BTW, if you still have problems, try deleting the two original db files from your data0 file using FM12. Could be the game is for some reason is reading those files instead of the files in your db folder. And make a backup copy of your main FIFA 13 folder before deleting anything of course.

Okay, just looked at something and it occured to me... What folder are you in fact highlighting and loading when you're prompted to locate the db when opening CM 13? You're highlighting the FIFA 13 main folder, correct?

when you load CM13 it should automatically browse the install folder pending you have 13 installed to it's ea designated path.

if you have it installed in the ea designated path just click next and it will find the database on it's own, same with the language database.

if you do not have it installed in the ea designated path do as bangus suggested.

Yeah see, CM13 doesn't do that for me. It defaults to the Program Files (x86) folder, after which I have to manually locate and highlight the FIFA 13 folder.

strange because i have my game installed in that same path as i also run a 64 bit os and it loads up for me, all i simply need to do is click open and it finds the xml for me and i carry on from there.
