fifa 12 for mac gamepad problems (x button)

So i bought fifa 12 and installed it into my computer, but when i plug my controller in it definitely doesn't seem to be working right. I have a Logitech Gamepad Controller F310, and everything seems to be working right, except for the fact when i push the x button during any point of gameplay it registers it as if i am pressing pause and it automatically pauses the game... anyone else have this prob? any ideas?

if you would have looked 6 threads down from this one you would have seen this was addressed already & they are working on it.
