FIFA 13 Connection Slow/Lag Online

Just bought the game two days ago and I thought I can enjoy a good gaming session in FIFA Ultimate Team.Then the "devil" lag started to happen.Just wondering is there any way to improve it other than upgrading my internet?For me,I think my internet should be able to play online without any problem.

it may not be your connection, it might be your opponents and besides that, its fut, people spend money and coins so expect cheating to occur such as lag switches, etc.
