Hey mate,
I agree if it was a calendar bug, someone would've reported it earlier surely. But I believe this bug is specifically related to Playoffs at least EFL, not sure about other promotions. I tried simulating further the fixture date but again, the game is specifically crashing when the selected date hits the fixture date. As I said earlier, I have tried with clean installation as well and I am willing to share my save file if anyone else wants to see if it's working or not.
And just to be clear, I am a modder myself in the PES community so I agree with the 'don't report if cracked' statement always. If I could have bypassed it myself, I wouldn't have even reported this
