i cant get my reserve players from the reserve team into my first team can anyone help me please

quite a common FIFA Manager bug, used to happen to me a lot. The only way i could get round it was by making the changes before the season. I think you could try another way, though it might not work...in the 'options' menu, untick the option which allows the AI to control your reserve team and then try switching the players again.

thanks for the advice
but i cannot find that option in my options on my game. :S
there is no such option so do you have any other ideas

You must be in the English league!
same stuff here you cant get the player from reserve team, so put the young player from the start of their careers to the first team.
