Hi,

I have installed fifa 07 on my pc and playing a friendly it worked fine. However, when I tried to then open career mode it would work up until I got to the match and then as soon as the match screen went to appear the game would just crash to windows with no error message whatsoever. SInce then I have downloaded the latest drivers for my sound and video card but although this has fixed the problem of being able to play the game the game does'nt run quite right as the colours are a bit strange and when it cuts to the goal kick scene and throw in scene etc it's strange colours either black or white/see through players etc. The worst thing about the change that has occured tho is the menu screen, it is basically unreadable. Where the menu says friednly match , career, mode etc etc it is all blacked out so you cannot see what you are selecting which makes the game impossible to use really but it did not do this before I updated drivers.

Can anyone help as I have no idea what more I can do, had this game since xmas now and still can't play on it !!! :-(
ANy help would be gratly appreciated

Well, first of all, we need to know what kind of video card you've got. To find that out out, go to start/run and type in dxdiag. Then go to the display tab and it will say what your video card is. The list is my signature. People can click on it to have easy access to useful stuff, like the latest drivers etc.

Okay thanks.
Well the name of my device is called SIS 760. Main Driver SiSGRV.dll, Version 6.14.0010.3770 (English). Approx total memory - 128.0 MB. Current Display Mode - 1280 x 1024 (32 bit) (85Hz). ETc, etc.....
Anything else you need to know or I need to do ?
Any ideas what the problem is ?

I have updated the drivers but have not downloaded any add-ons that i'm aware of......

Ok, try to completely uninstall the game and reinstall it to see if that helps. If this does not work, then we can talk about the video card.

Ok, my guess is that the latest drivers must be the cause. Right-click on "my computer" and select properties. Then go to the hardware tab and open up the device manager. Then look for your video card in that and once you have found the card, right click on it and go to properties. If I am not mistaken, there should be a roll-back option. Unless I can be magically teleported to your house, I cannot help anymore as I would have to be at your house :D If you find the roll-back option, tell me if it works.

Well tried to roll back to previous driver it's asking me for a cd or drive path to install it from. The driver cd did not come with the computer and I have no idea what path it would be at so guess i'm out of luck !! :-( thanks anyway

If you downloaded CEP 3.0 and started a manager mode and then upgraded to 3.1 the game will crash at manager mode. This happened to me. You'll need to restart your Manager Mode.
