Game now crashing on me after addit

I've added quite a few things so not sure what could be the cause.

I added "regularcats" gameplay patch - worked fine last night.

I added numerous faces today and a EPL flag patch........just tried to boot up the game and once it goes past hospitality settings, ie., in to the main game - it crashes back to desktop.

Any idea on how I could sort this? Will I need to do a clean install and start over again?

ps: apologies for the thread title balls up!! I'm using a new keyboard and it has a mind of its own!!

Thanks for responding mate. I know it has nothing to do with your work but thought maybe there was a known conflict that I was unaware of.

Is there any way I can delete a particular file to reset the faces?

Thanks for any help. I've been FIFAless all night waiting to see if there is a workaround!! :clapwap:

try using my db from the install & overwrite the one you edited, then delete the face files, if it still crashes then remove the flags, its 1 of the 2 causing it.

you have to troubleshoot the errors bro, i know its easier to post & have someone else fix your problems but you will never learn that way.

Yeah, I understand mate. It is a tricky enough process getting my head around this and thought I was getting somewhere when your patch worked great (previously had some faces working too). I've got ahead of myself now and added so much today that I don't know where to start deleting!! :D

I totally understand users frustrations with people just randomly posting and trust me I only done this as my frustration was increasing........I did reinstall your patch and try a few things myself but no joy.

It's definitely one/or some of the faces I added (maybe the flags....) but my problem is I actually don't know where to look to delete the files I added. I installed the exe and used CM12 and added any file info to player.lua (I hope that even makes sense as I have just started this and I could be jive talking!! :D).

Anyway, I'm obviously rambling away now. Thanks for the tips mate, I'll just keep trying tomorrow and hopefully get the game up and running again. If the frustration levels keep rising I'll just do a clean install and start over again.

Cheers for taking the time to respond and keep up the good work with the FIFA patching. It is much appreciated as I know the amount of work that goes in (I'm an old PES player and was addicted to editing/patching it........still am but PES needs to improve quite a bit for me to get back to playing it longterm - but that's another story for another day).

you may have a bad code in the lua or a wrong id causing the crash, double check the file & the ids.
