I just bought Fifa 07 yesterday. I played it for a bit. Then downloaded some new kits and faces using CM07. But just now when I try to play I start the game [Instant Match, Kick Off, Manager Mode] and the loading bar goes about 1/6 of the way complete than the screen goes black and cuts to my desktop.

Please help!

When using CM, you must always reset your squads from the game. Also, you most likely had 2G kits. Resize them to 1G, or 515x512 pixels and import them again and you should be fine.

OK, so I've un-installed and re-installed the game 3 times now. I've tried adding kits at 515x512 pxls in CM07 and Kit Raptor, still the same problem. I really want to keep on downloading all the fabulous stuff here especially the new Scottish Megapatch comming out soon. Please help.

HI,

You can import the 2g kits. The only conflict that I have ever seen was having two opposing keepers in 2g. The kits should be fine in 2g, just put keeper kits in 1g. If using kit raptor, be sure to select 'options' on the top left corner and run the FATBH builder and you should be fine.

Did you reset your squads (or delete them altogether) before attempting to start a game?? If not, then you need to do so.

You can reset them from within the game or you can simply delete the 'D. My Squads' folder from within the 'FIFA 07' structure in your 'My Documents'

(it does depress me each time I type that {sigh} - I really hate Microsoft's 'my patronising folder names' concept, and the fact that so many software publishers seem to have willingly latched onto it)
