HI,

You are really going to have to provide a lot more detail. How do you expect anyone to help if we know nothing about your PC?

You will need to provide system specs (CPU, PSU, Memory, did you recently add hardware, or install new drivers, etc). Did you install any patches? Did you install anything other than EA updates? Did you make any other updates to the game?

I'm sure there would be lots of volunteers to help if you can provide some more info.

Hi,

You may want to try a different graphics driver. I still use the nvidia 81.98 driver for my 7800GTX.

Can you provide the power supply specs (PSU)? There is a sticker on the side of it. It would be helpful to know the total wattage and the Amps on the +12v rail. New graphics cards like the 7xxx series require at least 20A on the +12v to do any moderate gaming. Hope that helps.

Best of luck,

HI,

I change drivers a lot and use the following method without fail. This is my preferred method, so use at your own risk if you want to give it a try.

** I use Driver Cleaner 3*** . There are newer versions, but I prefer this one:)

1) Download the driver from nvidia's website (they have an archive of older drivers). And Download "Driver Cleaner 3" - You can google it, it's freeware.

1a) Install Driver Cleaner - I like to keep a shortcut on my desktop and also like to have the nvida driver on the desktop as well. It makes for a quick and easy install.

2) Go to Add/Remove Programs and remove the nvidia "Display Driver" only. Do not reboot when asked, say restart later.

3) delete the c:/nvidia folder if it exists

4) Empty recycle bin

5) disconnect from the internet

6) Restart into "Safe Mode" - pres f8 as the pc is starting. Safe mode ensures that there are no other programs running to disrupt the driver install. Safe mode will run a lot of file checks, just let it do it's thing and start up. When prompted to install a new display driver by the Windows New Hard ware message - PRESS CANCEL - Do not install.

7) Run Driver Cleaner. Select "nvidia" from the drop-down list and press "Clean". Run this 2x at least to make sure all nvidia display driver files are removed.

8) Empty Recycle Bin

9) Install Driver and restart.

10) Once restarted, update the screen resolution etc...

Good Luck!
