I'm so glad WC2002 is soo realistic. I remember playing soccer down at the local park, and there is was always this kid who managed to set fire to the ball when he kicked it, making it shoot off like a rocket. I mean, I only watch the Premier Leauge for the flaming soccer balls. How did Fifa take so long to realise that if there are no flamming undead freaky wierd soccer balls, then there is no soccer.

They should update their slogan, to "If its in the game, its probaly absent from ours, but we made up for it with FLAMMING SOCCER BALLS!" Yay.

I like the super realistic headers that can be score from the half-way line. Gotta love that my head can torch a ball harder than my feet. Also the way I stumbled and fall off my arse when tried to tackle someone. I think I am still drunk from the binge drinking last night.

LOL funny guys. As I posted in another topic I don't know how to turn off the 'great balls of fire' as I like to call it. But I noticed when editng the ini.big file you can slow the speed of the ball down. I'm also sure that when the full game comes out that there will be a heap of different edited ini.big files to download and try.
I presonaly like this demo. I think this will be the best fifa yet. Though that's not saying much about the past games because they have been nothing short of rubbish... with one exception being fifa 98.

fire balls

i think i saw an option (in the options menu ) where the player's star abilities can be turned off...dont know it that will do the trick. I just wish they had an option to turn off the super headers

i normally hang around in the cm part of this website... but you guys seriously don't mean scoring literlaly from half way with headers do you??? literally half way??? and the balls actually catch fire or do they just go really really fast????? i'm serious here, coz i've neva played this game before

pronewbie if you could just tell us where the option to turn the flaming ball off is that would be great. Maybe i just need to look at the ini.big properly. Anyway if you could post the line from the file that would be great. I see you've got number 7 on your england jumper image. Heh if you look carefully, I just simply added the number 7 to prevent it from lookin' so plain. 69 would make it real corny and 99? sheesh that'd be worse! So I just add a 7.. didn't expect it to look so realistic. And ok guys. Here's the line.
