did you import it with file master? did you only modify numbers? how did you save the file, with "save as" or "save"?

not master file, file master, it's an application - but??! You just saved the exported file without importing it again?! This shouldn't produce crashes. How did you export it - i mean you can't just go in to the fifa07 folder and open it because it's in config.dat or ini.big
After editing it you have to import it back... i don't really know what you have been doing...

ok i've explained badly... very badly.
I opened the data folder, opened the cmn folder and opened ini.BIG with notepad. I edited some values in that file. When i run fifa 07 it wont start i just get error report send dont send etc. So i just replace it with my backed up copy.

I've used bigGUI v 0.4r1 (patched) to edit the config.dat file in the mail Fifa folder. I exported the "career.ini" and edited f.e. the ticket values, imported the file and used compress on all the files + "rebuild". The main "config.dat" has been replaced with the edited one but after that the game simply doesnt start.
After replacing the file with the default one everything is OK. What is weird though is that the downloaded&edited "config.dat" files from the net work perfect. Why's that?

wow... i just tried it - i wasn't aware that this is actually possibly because that's how I do it: I use File master, open ini.big there and get a few text files, which i can change, save and import back with filemaster into the ini.big. I guess your way you can save what you have done with ini.big, but you can't save it as a .big-file.

hmm... you should find it easily. Maybe it's here in the download section or at fifax.net or fifa4fans.de... if not search this forum, you'll find it. You can also use the 06 version of it without any problems, you just have to change the file directory from 06 to 07.
I also recommend it to you, Mr0003v0eck, maybe it works better than your way which i can't say much about because i never worked with that program
