its so hard tp get FIFA fan boys to actually take a look at the other side of the world. EA's commentary for the CL game is great, but everything else is pretty unrealistic, including the career mode. when you play as man utd, in some stage Ronaldo has to get a match rating of 8 and scholes has to score 2 goals or else u sell them. who the **** is the owner, malcom glazer? is this simply a lame excuse for changes within a team? FIFA fan boys simply will not look at PES 4 becasue they are so focused on their own little game of FIFA. heck, if i wanted graphics, licenses, and audio, i'd go with FIFA too. but i would rather have a good gameplay than sit around playing fifa, knowing that the ball will go from one end... to the other end.... back to this end... and this repetive arcade-based gameplay is what really takes any fun out of FIFA. true, pes 4 is not your game if you want good rosters, transfers, kits, etc. but if you are tired of fifa, listening to what PES 4 fans say, but afraid or too lazy to try it, you will friggin love PES 4 :Bow:

2nd thing ... I,ve played PES plenty of times and it isn,t that special.
Not much better than Fifa tbh. The game is 70% Bulls**t.
1. The running animations are unrealistic & comical.

2. The passing is unrealistic, too straight, too perfect. Even the angled passes travel in a perfect diagonal line.

3. The players do unrealistic super quick 180 degree turns, as if they are being spun on a turnstyle. No leg or body movement.

4. The crowd atmosphere & commentry are s**t ..
Theres a Better atmosphere on the moon.

5. The AI is pretty poor. On the 4-5 star levels, the cpu AI just run around like headless chickens, trying to charge down every ball. The game resembles speed chess, rather than football at times.

6. The ML is too short, and is s**t anyway, because it doesn,t exist. Making the game un-authentic.
( people want to play with real player names, teams, leagues & cups/tournaments ).

Apart from all that, it,s an half decent game. But the only things that it has going for it are..
1. The ball physics.
2. The shooting system.
3. Tactical options. which to be fair, are only needed because of how poor the AI is ..
4. Gameplay fluency.. This is the main thing along with the ball physics, that give it a slight edge over Fifa imo.

Now i,ll sit back and wait for you childish PES/WE Fanboys, to start crying & reply.

Comments 1,2 & 3 are spot on. I,ve even posted this on another ( more mature ) gaming forum, and had PES fans AGREE! ...
Fifa,s player animations, player movements & passing,(in general) is way more realistic than PES,s and you know it.
Theres even a video in this forum, proving the running animations.

Oh, and Rooney & Henry run completely different to each other in Fifa. (Pay more attention, next time you play)
But to be fair, the only bad part is the occasional ball speed ups in some of the long range passes.

Comment 5. The PES cpu AI does speed up at times, to cheat, i,ve even noticed it on my PC demo. I,ve also been cheated out of goals too....
I,ll also agree that Fifa can be much worse at times.

The ML is not 15 seasons long like Career mode, covering all realistic domestic leauge & european cups/tournaments.

I watch mainly nothing but football, mate ... Theres loads of it on U.K tv & satelite.
Yes of course theres a tactical aspect to football..

Ps. It,s good to see that in true spirit of a PES Fanboy/man, you needed to resort to personal insults to get your point across. (:/)

well like i said, to each his own... i guess you like FIFA, and tbh neither one of us will ever change our minds bout that for sure... and neither one of us will ever get the other to understand...

and whats nice is that people here actually care to give an explanation as to why they believe FIFA or PES/WE is better, loads of other forums maybe one or two guys will explain, and the opposition will simply say "B/s" or "What a load of crap"... so atleast no-one here has that attitude... no sarcasm meant either..
