I've just got FIFA 2002 - how can I make it good?

I never played Iss but I really like the fifa series. Especially since you can edit things in the game, which makes it much fun as well.

It's not that it's crap it just does a different job than PES.

But PES is a football game. Tactics, strategy and team selection are important.
