Just got the X360 DEMO and i'm spechless!!

first of all i was a pes fan until fifa 08 on 360
yesterday i played the pc demo and felt it closed the gap with the pro evo series (not including pes09).
today i got the x360 demo and it's way beter than i expected. from what i've senn in videos pes 09 still has robot like animations so its hard to believe konami can close the gap.
the graphics r a bit sharper but the gameplay is OMFG!!!
the ball physix are nearly perfect: the shots swing realisticly with the right velocity not in a scripted way like in the pc version (or pes).
another key improvment are the kepers. no i know they are not perfect but they dont do those superhuman saves anymore u can notice that if you swing a shot it would trick the keeper (he may take a step right and then dive left and not reach the ball)
dont think that makes it easy to score, sure a screamer to the top corner is now unstopable but geting it on targer from 20 yds out is tough even with ronaldinho.
another great thing is the physical play players fight for each header and you can see that they jump as high as they can instead of just waiting for the ball to come.
another thing you will notice is that players are making runs and calling for passes and now if you hit the thru pass button the pass will not go in a straight line to the player it will go to the point the atacking player wants to recieve it. players are making diagonal and sideways runs too not only forward.
the animations are superb even beter than in fifa 08 and the game fels way more unpredictable

"closed the gap" pes NEVER had realistic gameplay pes is pure arcadish i know case i've played footy for over 16 years.

plus this is only a demo the full game will be even better like FIFA 08 the Demo was horrible and the final game was alot better. probably going to be same thing with fifa 09

or meybe were you high?

i agre pes was not quite a sim but still fifa was way worse (gamplay wise)
i remember that until the next gen fifa 08 arrived fifa was a scripted game with "cheating" AI and still i wal beating 5* teams 5-0 on world class easily.
dude try pes 5 (ignore the "man red" and "london blu") and cumpare it even to fifa 08 on pc (or ps2) and u'll c that pes was beter. but since pes 6 konami wanted to turn a game into a pinball party....that's why pes 6 and 2008 suck!

LOL I agree! lets hope 2009 will be a better year for pes an fifa!

yah fifa 08 pc/ps2/ was definetly worse but ps3/xbox 360 no way

EA sports didnt give a crap about pc version until fifa 09 fifa 08 was horrible gameplay and still th same gameplay as 131313 fifas b4 it plus all the PEs never impressed me except 2008. 2008 was decent but others just had hideous gameplay
