Didn't know if you wanted details of you tactic public or not, so I thought I'd post it in here where only a few of us can see it and you can decide what to say.

I started using it on my Chelsea game, and have been having mixed results but generally it is very good.

I will get a screen shot of the players I am using soon, I picked the players from my squad which seemed most similar in playing style to those mentioned in the readme file, although some are not that similar.

It started of badly with a 1-0 loss to Newcastle, but then it got very good. I thrashed Fenerbache 7-0, Xanthi 6-0 and Tottenham 6-0 (all at home). It certainly can get alot of goals. However it seems to be less good away. I hammered Wolves 5-0 away fine, but lost away games against Blackburn and Fenerbache and even routine away games such as Leicester and Portsmouth were only won by 1 or 2 goal margins.

All in all my summary of this tactic so far is an excellent, fast paced and exciting tactic with the potential to blast home lots of goals and put on a real display, but also the potential to provide a bit of tension in away games.

Having said that, I ahve only been using it for a couple of months (game time) and things may change.

I'll update you as I progress.

well no, Sir_Didier_Drogba started the thread, but he didn't know if i wanted it to be visible to everybody. althought i think it would be fine if it was in his chelsea thread, so aye whatever.

I haven't got any further since my last post due to lack of time, and I may not get on CM till the weekend. I'll update you then.

this thread is just what i am looking for - a place to discuss tatics!!!! but why some of u dont want to make ur tactic visible? its just an experience exchange. the tactic i am using is fine, but not a spectacular one i guess. its fine with those big teams but when i manage a crap team the tactic becomes average. does anyone of u have a tactic that can beat big teams and even win the title with less decent players?

Im using a 3-1-3-3 tactic at the moment with Leeds. Its only preseason but ive been getting wins with it. I have good striking and midfield options so this attacking tactic works well for me. I usually have Bridges, Smithy and Dukes up front with Chapuis on the bench.
LM is either Pearce (myself as a player, nothin too special) or johnson. Sakho can play there but his crossing stats arnt too flash. In the centre i play Olembe, Morris or Bakke. RM can be either Pennant (for the moment), Bakke, Barmby, Milner, Simon Johnson, Kelly...
I usually have either Batty, Kelly or Seth in the DM pozzy.
after i sold Matteo back to pool the back 3 are made up from Radebe, Roque and Harte with Richardson and Domi on the bench.

no, you got the wrong idea...

i made a tactic that works amazing for me, and i sent it to Sir_Didier_Drogba so that he could test it on his game too. If it works for him too, then I will release it.

So basically it's just a way to make sure my tactic works for other people too before I make it public.

ok ic, my bad.:)

so kader, what kinda teams have u tested ur tactics except pool? did u try on teams like wolves etc? how was it?

i just jumped ship to Juve who's without a decent squad and finished 11th the season before, most of the plaers are old with my top schorer Treseguet at 36. i am in 5 th place after 10 games or so, but score the most goals in the league. my defence is just crap when play away.

yeah correct. i already spent about 20 mil since i took over it. but since there are too many old players in the team its been a bit hard for me. the good thing is i never lost at home. just finished the season, lost on the final day of the season and immediately dropped from 2nd spot to 4th:(

btw, the old Buffon is CRAP!! always rushes out and fails to catch the ball!!:f***:
