Minutes later, it was Messi again, taking the ball from the halfway line, beating three Nigerian defenders and taking his own shot on goal. The shot was saved, but Angel Di María tapped in the rebound and Argentina had two. Apparently, Leo is loving life as the new Argentine captain. Anyone watching would have had a tough time arguing that this man is not the best footballer in the world.And it's possible that this football god is about to get even better -- or at least, even smarter about his performances.
