Lionel Messi Impresses For Argentina While Wearing The New Intelligent Boot From Ad

Sep 8, 2011 - Who didn't love watching Lionel Messi playing for Argentina in their friendly against Nigeria? That pinpoint perfect pass, just one touch, that allowed Gonzalo Higuaín to score the first goal for the Albiceleste. Minutes later, it was Messi again, taking the ball from the halfway line, beating three Nigerian defenders and taking his own shot on goal. The shot was saved, but Angel Di María tapped in the rebound and Argentina had two. Apparently, Leo is loving life as the new Argentine captain. Anyone watching would have had a tough time arguing that this man is not the best footballer in the world. And it's possible that this football god is about to get even better -- or at least, even smarter about his performances.
I was lucky enough to get a glimpse of this boot back in July, when AC Milan

youngster Mattia di Sciglio wore a blackout version in training at Adidas headquarters. Obviously, the appearance was nothing special, although the boot certainly stands out now:
The red and highlighter yellow may be distinctive, but it's the fact that the boot will clue teams into on-pitch performance that is most remarkable. Although really, does Barcelona need any more of an advantage than it already has? Does Messi? It's almost frightening to think about.
