Hey guys

Is it not possible to see the name of the different positions when looking at your formation? I know for many people it's easy, but I don't know the name of all positions and where they are supposed to be.

I hope you understand my question or I'll try to explain better.

Training Arena, No Options?

Is it not possible to train freekicks, cornerkicks, trainingmatches and all that anymore?

EA seems to have removed that option for some weird reason. You can re-position your players and a pop-up box will ask you to choose their position, that's one way. And you can always open the db and check any teams/players positions in the teamplayerlinks table.

So, in the popup box which appears, there may be 2 or 3 positions to choose from, does that mean that they would all be right for that position?

How much, and what does it really matter the players play in their correct position?

It means those are the set positions available for that part of the pitch. Who you use in that position doesn't affect which positions will be available to choose from.

Different player roles affect CPU-controlled players' positioning on the pitch. Example: CB, RCB and LCB will not move into the attacking zone but will stay near midfield. Whereas RB RWB LB and LWB will move in and help on the attack. Or a DMF will drop back further to help defend than a CM. Etc. The new Instructions feature can be used to change positional assignments to some extent, but it doesn't do a whole lot to over-ride the default role assignments and positioning.

i installed the Better Career Gameplay mod and Fidel`s Gameplay Evolution mod and one of them unlocked the options i think .

When you say "I think," do you mean you are now able to train freekicks, play training games, etc?
