Money/Manager mode

Hello, I'm having troubles with my money making in manager mode.
After I win/loose a game, it says I get -5 500 for my salary, and +4 500 from my sponsor, so my money is slowly going down into the negatives, how do I get my money up?

I'm winning a lot games, and getting good comments on me being a manager; what am I doing wrong?

Hi,

Here is an easy way to get money, but it's sort of a "cheat". In the next transfer window, buy high valued free agents and immediately list them for transfer.

Hi,

There are no transfer fees when you make an offer to a free agent. Woo him with a big contract and then when he signs, put him out for transfer. I was in a similar situation before and signed Lampard as a free agent and transferred him to Arsenal for a huge fee.

You should also be getting money from ticket sales for your home games, which ought to more than offset the difference between the wages and the sponsor's per game contribution. You may benefit from increasing your ticket prices - use the Financial Prediction screen (from the Office) to identify whether you'd make more money from higher prices.

That's normal. Unless you manage to get into a high league like the Premiership with a crappy team (and thus low contracts), your sponsor money per game will not be as much as your contracts per game.

Also, I make -600 cr every game, and +91 each home game.
I just don't know why I'm getting a - salary.

Well you have to pay your players each week thus the negative salary total.

u should sell some of ur players, may be all ur players' salaries are too high because they are all stars(?) especially the free agents.. u should choose the best sponsor 4 ur club.. ur fan support should be high so u can set the tickets price higher.. or may be u can just create career.ini file in ur fifa07 main directory which inside the file is like this:

TICKET_PRICE_L = 35 // old value is 3.5
TICKET_PRICE_M = 65 // old value is 6.5
TICKET_PRICE_H = 95 // old value is 9.5

not to set very high as when ur budget exceeds approximately 2,450,000,000 it will be '-'ve

You can't (short of changing the metadata, and every teams table entry, using a hex editor). Much easier to give yourself a large wad of money immediately after you've started manager mode, but I really don't see the point either way.

Money in Manager Mode

Other than the fact that you can use free agents and sell them, there's a patch which increases ticket sales. Find it in FIFAX.net

Note :- There is an error in FIFA 07 where when the currency value increases 2 billion, it goes into negative values. Watch out for this. Use the British pound, and when the money becomes -ve, don't save the game. Exit and change the patch with the original file config.dat, (Hopefully you had a backup!!!!!! ). Then play the game as normal
