hm...i expected the game to be better...
i know i can be killed becaused of saying this but it's true...
the game is really, an when a say "really" i mean "REALLY", unfair when it comes to stats...there are some very underrated players...for example: Cristiano Ronaldo (too slow, the drible shoulb be much better, lack of stamina, heading and passing...)
Rooney ( ithink i don't need to say anything about this one...it's obvious...) as well as Reyes.
I'm sorry but fifa2005 ingame graphics and textures are much better...

Look at Rooney's face for example from PES4 on the PC and compare it to FIFA 2005. On PES4 when you reply, the players eyes move, their mouths open and you can even see their teeth and tongue! In FIFA 2005 it's like a cartoon character (burns victim with oddly shaped Roswell alien arms and legs) with a photograph stuck on their face like a mask that never moves.
As for the textures, again - ha ha! Look at the FIFA 2005 nets! Made of steel! Even the FIFA hardcores admit that one.
The default FIFA 2005 stadiums are nice and the commentary is better than PES4. Other than that, the games graphics are poop. From any playing angle other than zoom, the latest FIFA game is no better than 3-4 years ago for the players. The uniforms are blurry even on high res and the jersey textures are plain nasty.
I can be very objective and admit when things suck but to say FIFA is better graphically now compared to PES4 is a joke. Gameplay wise it's not even worth discussing because FIFA2005 with all it's improvements is still a poor mans PES1/WE4.

Wolf on player mouth animation, I've seen players as you say open their mouths..
I seen this in the demo a few time in replays, but in PES3 when the keeper knew the shot was in he would open his mouth in a screaming fashion. Yet in PES4 I have not seen that anytime I have replayed a goal, Ive seen out field players mouthing but not the keeper one from PES3!

I've seen it a few times. I was replaying a PK the other day. The facial animations on the players have improved quite a bit. The eyes are more independent now and follow the action more rather than the head just turning. Watch the players reaction on a bad foul and some of them look mad!
keeper does move his mouth too
