You see ..nah .. I don' t even wana say it...I will just help you:

U have to download either XGK 1.0 or XGK 2.0. This depends on which type of kit u downloaded..if you downloaded a XGK 1.0 kit download the XGK 1.0 essentials

Set the game resolution to something other than 800X600(640X480 is ok but numbers on the back look bad)

Install XGK(1.0 or 2.0) and copy the kits.big file from yoru CD ROM to the hard drive...i.e. copy it from d:/....data/players to c:/.....data/players

Unzip the downloaded file

Run your "KIT INSTALLER"...this option only comes up after you install XGK(1.0 or 2.0)

Press the "Select the kit" option and select the home kit(it has h in its name) from the folder into which u unzipped it. Hit the install kit. Repeat the process for the away it(it has a in its name)

If u are using XGK 2.0 u have to also install the numbers. Press the "Select number" (I THINK) button and install the numbers like u installed the kits above.

Thanks, SwashBUCKLER (like the new handle!), for the credit! And one more thing, you may already have the kits.big file on the hard drive, depending on the type of install you did.

Any questions, Kuje, we'll be glad to help you out. It can be tough to get started sometimes... We've all been there sometime...

1---> that kits.big thing its not necesary. for almost all patches made in any site, you'll need to have a FULL installation of the game so Install it full and you wont have problems.
So forget about that kits.big thing cuz you'll lose the kits (already installed) that come with the essentials files. kits made by Ariel and Slayer.

2---> you dont have to set the resolution to something different to 800x600, I run it that way and nothing happended ever to me. And I've tried with all combinations of displays and it always worked for me. Remember that you have 2 (TWO) resolutions: your screen resolution (display properties of windows) and the game resolution (3d setup in the game folder in the start menu).

3---> if the kits are xgk, there's the chance the kit maker didnt made the numbers for it, so just dont select anything in the kit installer (in the numbers part) and thats it. Numbers are not obligatory.

Hope it clarifies everything for you.:D :p :D

In the settings, check your skill level. Try the Amateur or Professional, you should score less. If you really want a challenge, try World Class. A 1-0 score is a high one.

but WC 2002 game doesn't work like other fifa games. You can't just put the kits in the main folder like in fifa 2002. you have to import them to kits.big

when i download the xgk kits they work perfectly but when i replace them with my own kits, the bages show up but the kits show up black.
I used the template that comes with the esssentials, imported the images using ea graph and imported the kit using the kit installer. The image sizes are correct.
What am i doing wrong?

Red

Now my numbers have turned Red. :( And i also notice. Their all in one font. USA should have their own style. Right?
