I patched my game several times and I lost commentary. So I've uninstalled everything and done a fresh install of the game but there still is no commentary.
Any ideas.

I don't think I can cope without commentary.

there's a problem with surround sound and commentary apparently. Try playing around with your speaker settings - adjusting the amount of speakers in the settings etc. i had to adjust mine from 8 channel to 5 channel for it to work.
