I wanted to make a thread where there won't be requests that are full of nonsense and request teams and leagues anyone hardly ever pays attention to... EA ignore those things. So please post requests for gameplay, career mode etc.
Here's mine in no perticular order:
1. Fix the goalies! For example, when I shoot the ball at the goalie and he dives and saves it, he gets back up but just watches my second shot from the rebound roll right by his feet and does nothing at all to stop the ball.
that needs to be fixed. Also, I don't see a really big difference if a goalie's reflex is 50 or 95. All goalies are somehow able to save those lightning fast shots the players take but no keeper can save the slow shots from certain angles.
2. Same thing with players, they sometimes watch the ball roll right by them and do nothing about it...
3. Change the corner system. Why do we only have 3 players available to cross in to? There should be at least 6 players from each team in the box. If at the end of a game a team is losing, they should be able to also call their keeper up for an extra player in the box!
4. The referee should be more strict. There is no way you wouldn't get carded in real life for taking out the legs of your opponent from the back when they've already passed the ball.
5. Fix the graphics. Why is it that people on these forums make kits with such great quality and on your kits, you sometimes can't even read what the jersey says on the front. The nets should be MUCH more dynamic. If you ever watch a soccer game where someone blasts one into the net, it spreads back about a whole meter.
6. I really liked the Idea of this year's career mode but there can be much more than that.
a) Make players from International teams that are not in any club teams in the game be available for purchase.
b) We should be able to either start a realistic career (low-class team) or a career where we choose any team we want to play with.
c) The players that come after retirement shouldn't have the same talent as the retired player. For example, when a player from a second division team retires, maybe someone with a great talent will step up to his spot and after about a season we should be getting offers for him from the big clubs for lots of money. That would also make us look through the young players a lot more, so that we can find new talent for our teams.
d) All players should be able to transfer. I noticed that in fifa 2005, only the generic players get transfered from team to team. That way, the career mode would be much more realistic.
e) Have a "Player search" option which would allow us to look for a player we want if he has been transfered or retired.
7. Fix the defence. Why is it that we can choose between 3 options for the defence: Neutral, Contain, Pressing when they don't really change anything. For example, If I chose pressing and I'm attacking, My defenders should be all the way to the middle of the pitch, ready to get the ball back if I lose it.
8. Have more flexible formations. We should be able to chose the basic formation like in fifa 2005 and then a more direct player placement. If I want my left forward a bit further up than my right forward, I should be able to do that. If I only want my right defender to run down the wing, I should be able to do that too.
9. PLEASE EA, DO MORE BETA TESTING! WHY NOT GET VOLUNTEERS TO TEST THE GAME AND TELL YOU ABOUT ALL THE BUGS IT HAS? If you let me beta test, I'd spend a good 2 hours a day testing things. If you get 100 volunteers, the game would be much more easy to play since there won't be that many bugs.
10. UPDATE THE GAME AFTER IT'S BEEN RELEASED! I'm sick of having the "Check for updates" on my start menu when there's no updates at all. Fifa 2005 needs MANY fixes. I hope that it won't be the same with the next Fifa.
