Does anyone know if Konami are making a version or other footy game for the XBox?

I am keen to buy PES but think Gamebox would be a sounder investment than PS2.

Whaddya Reckon?

I read at Gamer Uk that there is a possiblity of an ISS game to make a debut on the X-Box, nothing confirmed though.

Konami of Osaka (KCEO) are going to bring out ISS for X-Box, which is not the same game as PES. Konami of Tokyo (KCET) who made PES (& is by far the better game) are only releasing PES for Playstation consoles.

Gamecube is only getting ISS by KCEO at this stage.

Well this is part of what I was told by one of my corresondence from Microsoft:

"Not much is being released by Konami about the X-Box version of ISS, however I can tell you that both KCEO and KCET are jointly producing this game, in order to utilise the X-Box's potential. From what I was told from our Yokohama offices is that the product wil feature the PES engine with minor graphical tweaks and some minor additions. Yet they are unsure of securing any licenses. I'll keep you posted though."

Oh well, judge for yourself.

If KCET do manage to make a PES for X-box, they should work alone, and tell KCEO to go and destroy another console, just like they did to the N64 and are going to do to the GameCube.

It's not that I don't believe your source...I just find it difficult to believe that KCET and KCEO will work on the same game.
