Örnsköldsvik BK bought Florin Iftodi for 181913 EUR. 44650 EUR of the price was taken out for taxes.


how come so much of the money was taken as taxes? i put him on the transfer list for 3 days. thats like the maximum days

It could be because you may have only bought him recently and then soon after put him back on the market...

form the rules:

2. When selling a player within 6-15 weeks of purchase 50% of the profit is taken as tax.
3. When selling a player beyond 15 weeks of purchase 20% of the profit is taken as tax.

02/05/2004 to 18/01/2004 is 105 days... which is right on the 15 week threshold... if you had kept him for one more day you would of been taxed 20% but instead you had a 50% tax.

your profit is 181913 - 92610 = 89303

50% tax on 89303 ~ 44650.

everything seems fine.

I always seem to sell players just before the 15 weeks too

It's a pain but you still make profit on the player (as if not tax doesn't have an effect) so not end of the world

Next time just work it out and maybe wait the extra couple of days if that's all it is
