Players or Coach

Tired of all those 'who is the best player/ best team' questions? Well, here is a different question for thought.

What percentage of a teams success should be attributed to the players or the coaches?

Surely, there are more factors that contribute to the success of a team but I just wanted to know about the players and coaches. There are some teams that have great players and a mediocre coach (E.G. England in Euro2000). Then there are other teams that have a great coach but the players could be better (Too many examples to list).

Anyway, this should be interesting...

i think an important factor to wether a team has succes, is how good a coach motivates his players, no matter if it's Ferguson, Trappatoni, Capello, del Bosque, or a coach for some 2nd division welsh team or whatever.......

My school team sucked, we had a crazy (and I mean it, he was really messed up in the mind. The older team coaches agreed) coach.

I hate my school coach cause all he cares about his hate and running. Let's say I had a division 2 (3,4) coach from England (or UK), I would love to play because I can almost be certain this guy knows what he is talking about. My coach just said today, "We know a lot about soccer, we've been in soccer for 5-10 years. Stick with us and you'll learn it all."

Gimme a break. I've learned nearly all of it, hell, I know more than you coach who prnounces "Kluivert" wrong, and who didn't believe me when I told him what club Kluivert plays for. (He knew he played for Holland though).

And with those kind of coaches, it almost makes me hate playing. It's no fun, and - I get to wake up early again and do the same crap with them. BAH. C'ya later.
