question re: Career.ini

Its irritating to start a season in manager mode and despite winning the majority of your games if you lose a couple straight you get fired even if you're at the top of your league.

Question

1) Can this situation be altered by modifying the career.ini file?

If so then...

2) Where is the career.ini file?
3) What tool do I need to find the file, modify it and save it again to alter the in-game BS associated with manager mode:)

Thanks in advance,
Leonidas

k, new Q?

So I did just what you said, however, when i opened the career.ini in the editor the save button says "save lua file" so without another option I pressed that and it saved and exported the career.ini to my game folder.

Do I have to re-import the career.ini to that data.big? FIFA doesn't seem to want to load now?

thanks,
Leonidas

do I have to re-import it though? when I saved it last time it didn't show up in the .big anymore, 'cause it had exported to the main folder...

So now that I have the career.ini file in the main game folder, I've changed some of the parameters to fix the career mode firing BS, and I regenerate. It should be fixed? That career.ini file just stays in the main folder then?

So what exactly happens when you use the Regenerator, it incorporates the new career.ini? I opened File Manager and looked at the career.ini thats back in the data0.big and its the old one, unchanged, so is the regenerator supposed to incorporate the new one? Just trying to understand what everything does.

thanks,
Leonidas

If something is outsourced from the "data", it must be removed from the BH, so it regenerates it. In the "data" while the original is still included, but it is no longer used.
