Not anymore, Luis. :@ Did you see that penalty? Shocking stuff! Simão pushed ostensibly Wilson, and only 2 people in Portugal didn't see it: the ref and the linesman (who was 2 meters away:kader: ).
No wonder Simão is the leading scorer. He's on his way to beat the mythic Jardel record of 20 penalties in a season, obtained last season for Sporting...

Not that we can talk anyway, though, since we scored in the last minute with a Jankauskas "hander". :crazyboy:

I think it's a shame that small clubs like Belenenses (who I'm more of a fan of than Porto) and Moreirense have been literally stolen like 10 points so far, at least. And the 3 big clubs even have the nerve to complain about the refs...

Finally, it seems like Boavista is coming to terms with themselves. Their performances have been better and better. Three away goals? Until a month ago, they couldn't even score one goal at home...

yeah, you're right Hugo...the preferential treatment the so-called bigger clubs get is dissapointing. I think it's a little better than it used to be though, I remember watching games from Portugal like 10 years ago and for a smaller club to get a penalty called in their favour against a bigger club was unheard of..

It is good to see Boavista finding their way again, we need them in good form to make the league competetive. I also hope Guimaraes doesn't let themselves slip, they've been so impressive until now.

I think if clubs like Belenenses, Boavista, Guimaraes, and Braga could get to a level where they were always contenders for the title too, then I think we'd have a pretty good league..

the comeback begins...

Yep, its coming.
Anways yeah Benfica and Porto were handed wins with the reffing. But Postiga's goal looked to be offside and Jankauskas's goal was a handball, damn, Porto shoulda lost :) that woulda really helped Benfica... Benfica's Glory Days Look To Be On The Horizon :p Camacho 100 %

:hump: :mrpimp: :p

Simao will never be the new jardel, besides we dont have anyone that can dive in the box and not get carded for it.

Im new to this forum. Are there any other Portuguese threads here?

Welcome aboard, then. :)
Yes, there have been quite a few, but most of them are out of date now. Whenever something relevant happens in our league or with our nt, either me, shinji or calve11 start a thread on it. ;)

It's a shame things are the way they are, but it's like that in every league.

What was really funny was how Belenenses totally dominated Benfica while playing with 9 men!!!!
