Read This Now!! Vital For Training And Cheats!!

I know a few of you might have seen this letter late last night, but please reply on your thoughts on my thoughts!

The training files I’ve found are located in the FIFA2002/DATA/FEART/TRAINING Directory. I’ve compared them with FIFA 2000 game’s FEART directory, and they are very similar to the files for the training in that game. I think that stupid EA have gone and forgot to put links to the training on the menus!! There is still hope for this very important aspect of the game! What does everyone else think??

Would there be any other explanations for this act of stupidity by EA Sports, especially as they have a totally new passing system, shooting, free kicks etc it would be hard to understand why they didn’t put in training!!

I’m not the best patch/add-on maker, but if anyone knows how to add links onto menus with i.e. bly files or abg files, please make a patch, or at least let me know of a special programme I can download to make it myself. I’m sure everyone would be very grateful if this is the case.

Also, the same problem happens with the rewards system!! On the PSX version of the game, when you win rewards, you also win cheats too, but there is a missing link to them I think. I can see the file ‘cheats.bly’ in the FIFA2002/DATA/FEART/CHEATS folder, but it obviously has not been activated!!
Any thoughts on this matter too will be greatly appreciated.

This should not happen in BOTH cases because the PC version has always been a lot better than the PSX version down the years - both graphically and the Gameplay (my view). Why would they suddenly take out training and cheats and leave the damn files there waiting for us to tell them? I think they need some new beta testers, and I’d most welcome an invitation to be one In the future, as I’m sure a lot of you would after all the stuff they’ve left out this year!! I bet its their way of getting us 2 buy a cheeky ‘upgrade’ to the game for about 20 quid or sumthin.

I think ure all getting board of this post, but I hope uve all come to agree that EA Sports have messed up this WOULD-BE fantastic game. (They’re not getting away with this one way or another lol)

EA sports said that they didnt include the training option

so what they have probably done is just left them in the enviro folder from fifa2001

well James, they probably forgot to add those links, and after realizing that when it was to late to call back the game, the released a statement. Or the y just didn't finish it simple really.. but those files Christam1 is right, can't be activated.

Hey Christan, put your suggestion in Matts thread, I tell you waht, there are many poor suggestions in that post, a lot of the requests put in their can already be done, with ease by novices. What is the point in wasting up suggestions by asking for things that can already be done? Things like "stop the CPU playing offside," (this can be changed in the ini.big file) "GIVE SALAS AT LEAST A PLACE IN THE BENCH OF JUVENTUS!!!" (c'mon), "is fix the gameplay!!!make the ball more realistic the ball floats too much make the shooting better!!" (ini.big file can change this for yourslef)

"Players when chasing for a free ball with the CPU player won't respond properly to keyboard input, SOmetimes he'll just walk on the spot when I press the arrow keys with all my might. Cut off this crap, please, " - (play the game man and be more skillful) and what about this one "Also, make the AI make mistake in passing,as there is no way we could imitate such immaculate passing done by the AI & it therefore seems unfair!!" - ( c'mon man, its a video game, its got to have challenge, thats the whole point, to master the game and pass more precisely than the computer if poss not with a digital d-pad though, thats why this guy is having problems) its not a suggestion, b/c its possible.


and most on that page to, are either problems you can fix, or people who haven't played the game enough to know that it is possible , teh annoying thing is that the moderator might take some of these suggestion...and present them, instead of some of the more important ones, maybe you guys can help some of the others who think these are bugs and explain how they are not bugs, etc and bout the ini.big file.
