The famous Realistic Patch has just been released in version for FIFA 2004. The patch is being created (since 2001) by Vaclav Hluzek, champion of Czech Republic in FIFA Football PC playing (he also played at World Cyber Games in Korea in October 2003)

What's new in version 1.0
Team performance depends on the players attributes (originally in FIFA 2004 all teams play at the same level!!! - "PLAYER_ATTR_CPU_EFFECT_ON = 0")
CPU - long distance shots and tactic substitutions !!!

Installation
1/ unzip the package into your main FIFA 2004 directory (usually "c:\Program Files\EA Sports\FIFA 2004\") - overwrite config.dat
2/ run (double-click) install.bat in this FIFA 2004 main directory
3/ run FIFA 2004

maybe there your are a great one...

this feature was already enabled in the "FEEL the GAME" 1.01 and it's still in.

a closer look to your *.ini told me that there are not much changes...

that's really bad coz i hoped the great LUKAS would presents us a new patch with a lot of new ideas...

maybe Lukas you should tell the people of Czech Republic and even Vaclav Hluzek that he should take a look to your patches (Mex and Luis Miguel) here in forum...

I always post the news to FIFACZ when you release new version of your "Feel The Game" patch.

Vaclav's gameplay patches are always great (he is specialised in this sort of patches since 2001), and this is his first version for FIFA 2004 (he only bought the game a few days ago). I am sure that future versions of Realistic Gameplay Patch 2004 will bring much more interesting features.

so far my favourite patch is:

I find it a lot cleaner than the default gameplay and not as hard as Luis Miguels very very good patch.
It is also in a self install file so no manual instal hassles.

Maybe after i get better at this game I will try Luis Miguel's patch again.

It's hard to say which is better. You should to try all these patches and decide which is best FOR YOU. Different users require different gameplay settings.
