Over at FIFA CZ we have released a new version of the Realistic Gameplay Patch by Vaclav Hluzek. I have tried many gameplay patches for FIFA 2002 (by NickClubman, the one from the SA WC Patch, one by Bolzer, and many more) and I can say that the patch from Vaclav Hluzek is the best gameplay patch ever. It modifies the computer's AI so the CPU uses quite new combinations and very new game situations happen in the game. It is really realistic, and if you set the game to WorldClass difficulty, you will have trouble to beat the CPU.

lukas does this patch fix the formations bug? because the official EA update hasn't done anything...

if not, do you know any patch that fixes the ball physics and fixes the formations bug, yet is not too hard for intermediates like me?

lukas it would be greatly appreciated if you can find me a patch or answer my question.

The formations bug cannot be fixed by a gameplay patch. It can only be fixed by the Oficial update from EA Sports (it replaces the old fifa2002.exe). The Realistic Gameplay Patch ver.2.0 by Vaclav Hluzek updates the CPU intelligence and ball physics.

as i said lukas, the ea update didnt do anything to my game.

but i tried your patch, and it's excellent, really makes fifa fun again.

and btw lukas, u said that the release date of fifa 2003 has been officially announced on the 31st october ..... where did u get this information ?

sorry lukas, i wasnt very clear myself..

i meant that i didnt quite understand what rahul had said, he had either said ea was going to release 2003 on 8/31 or ea was going to announce the release date on 8/31.

BTW this thread was originally created to discuss the Realistic Gameplay Patch ver.2.0 and not the FIFA 2003 release date ;)

Hi Lukas,

Just installed it and played a match.

I must really say this patch gives a very good feel while playing.
I also think the defending is more realistic.

Another good fifa patch from FifaCZ.com !! Like all what you guys have on offer : QUALITY

Keep up the good work there !

PS. Are you guys building a new Czech stadium ?

lukas!

now that i've actually played the game for a while with your patch i've noticed that the ball physics have not changed very much. It still rolls on the ground like its being chased by the devil. If you (or the guy who made the patch) can fix the physics to make the ball behave like fifa 98/99 it would be excellent.

new gameplay update coming...

I will be releasing my latest gameplay update in 2-3 weeks and that will be the best I have made so far, much better then the others on my website. In fact the other updates on my website will be ported to a complete seperate page, as I don't feel them versions are worth it anymore, this is a fresh start and this is version 1! :rockman:

I am not going to start spreading what I have updated quite yet, it isn't right, to early I think. Most beta testers have been eager for me to release it and let others play it, but I keep saying there is so much more to improve and I have made an update that will 'hopefully' make people want to play more...can't please everyone though, must admit that!!

BTW, Miggie's NEOGF faces are f*cking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HEY Miguelito go work for EA!

P.S, I have tried this gameplay 'patch' and think it is good. :)
