Right analog stick fix!

thnaxs for this great post, but i 'm having a problem that i hope you can solve.

i'm using win xp pro and a firestorm dual power and this is what my regestry looks like.

i already had a axes key with this values( string 0 and string 1 ,the same but with y axis and 31 and string 0x axis and 30)

i've tried to add strings 4 and 5 as you posted but it drove my players insane.

should i remove the existing stirngs or is the problkem something else??

please help me !!!!

i've been messing arroud with the reg, and the drivers and found a way to work this, based on everything posted on the forum.

i'm using a thrustmaster firestorm dual power, under winxp

first of all i unistalled the thrustmapper software, and installed the only the new driver from thrustmaster, the major reason i did this is that this way you can calibrate the controler (with trustmapper that's not available).

then, in regedit, i've found that i already had and axes string, with 0 and 1 key, for x and y axis.

i then added the 4 and 5 as posted here.

my players went nuts, because i needed to calibrate my controler, adn that's the main reason why you SHOULDN'T use thrustmapper!!!

just to more things:

1st-> i dont know the effect this can cause in other games i've used the right stick (nba2003, combat flhght simulator, need for speed hot pursuit2, and others)

2nd-> in set pieces, the right stick works but doesn't sop messing arround , if anyone knows how to stop it, please post!

I got it working on my desktop PC both analog sticks etc.....but for some stupied reason I can't get the PSX-USB adapter to work on my laptop...

I given up on this and went and brought a Saitek P2500....

It is a super freestyle forcefeedback FIFA gamepad for just 27 euro (=$)

Hello again my dear friends,

I am totally ****ed up and exhausted of trying....

Now finally I have tried everything

-Fifa 2003 uninstalled and again a new installed
- files in the user catalogue deleted
- and at the end even tried with the keyboard

I run with the ball and nothing happens, even with pressed Z key with the MS Sidewinder - nothing, with the second analog stick of the Logitech Cordless Wingman Rumble Pad - nothing, and last but not least - with the keyboard pressing shift or return key and arrow keys nothing.

For me there are obviously no tricks. I have tried it with the MS Sidewinder, the Logitech Wingman Cordless Rumble and tried even with the keyboard (in german it says Umschalt key and arrow (this is fine either Shift or Return))

I could do with none of these combinations a trick, neither in the Arcade nor in the Simulation mode.

I have never mapped anything so how can all that happen? I dont use profiler software neither!

Is my game broken? Please, please, help me, I have this problem already since weeks, now I have already bought the fourth Gamepad to fix this issue but nothing happens....help help help

rename the sub-key 2 to 4 and change the "Attributes" binary data to 01 81 00 00 02 00 BB 00

rename the sub-key 5 to 3 and change the "Attributes" binary data to 01 81 00 00 02 00 BA 00

unplug your stick, and plug it back in.

Let say it short; the support is great and so are their gamepads!

Hi Maurice. In which folder do you find the registry files? and will your method work for the Saitek P3000 gamepad (slightly better than 2500) too?

You have to edit the registery.

(press start and the run button, then type regedit)

I have it, it work but the keys a messed up, and I can't get the right analog stick to work...
so I stick with the dualanalog 2

I would like to thank cog because i'm already searching for 5 months how to change the right analog stick (he didn't work) and now i finally found it. I also want to say you that this also works in fifa 2004 demo. Now it's just wonderfull when you play off the ball control you can send your player where you want with your right analog stick.
