Shooting from outside the box

Hi all,

Is there a way to score from outside the box in 5th level difficulty? I usually score from fast counter-attacks, headers and trough-balls, but never score with a great shot outside the box. The keeper always punches it away for a corner or grabs it.

If you find out, LET ME KNOW.
I think holding down space bar makes the guy "BEND" the ball, I THINK I'm not sure.....
