Skill Moves?

You say that all you need to do is skill moves the length of the field and score? am I right? YES!

Have you actually tried it WITHOUT using skill moves on a level OTHER THAN AMATEUR?!?!?!... it's actually quite hard!!!

I have the PC version of FIFA 2002 and play on Professional Level... it was nearly impossible to run the length of the field even when i WAS using special moves!!!

EA HAVE improved from their 'disaster' releases (FIFA 2000 and 2001 )

(In a 'YOU'RE A DUMBASS' voice): I discovered that when you PASS the ball it is alot easier than running with a player!

Now I am winning games 1 & 2 - 0 (NO SKILL MOVES!)... rather than 13-0! in FIFA 2001 (With really easy to pull off skill moves!)

Now... I'm not saying that 6-0 scorelines NEVER happen in real life!... Duh... they do!!!... If you wanna score goals... play on Amateur... otherwise play Pro/World Class... I challenge any of you to run the length of the pitch on World Class... go on I DARE YOU!!! (on FIFA 2002 obviously!)

By the way... before I go... If you want a 'REAL' soccer game... go outside and kick the ball with your mates! :D

C'mon! I can use my goalkeeper and run up to the oponent's penalty area in fifa 2002, WORLD CLASS LEVEL! all u have to do is to stop pressing any arrow keys when a defender approaches u, & chances are u will run right THROUGH him, or u'll stop and shield the ball if he tries tackling u, & den u can run right through him after he failed to get the ball

I believe the fact that those silly skill moves are even in the game ruins it in a way. And I've tried Fifa 2002 without the skill moves, yeah, it's pretty hard, not very hard, but pretty hard, but who said difficulty made a game?

I've tried it myself, and personally I find it very possible. ;)

In my opinion, Fifa 2000 was their best ever, even though I enjoyed World Cup 98 much longer. Fifa 2002 is in my opinion utter crap in comparison.

Who said you can't win 6-0 in PES/ISS? It's very possible, but they don't come as often as in Fifa. :)

no you need to so skill moves + button mashing of the sprint button

you know what i scored many goals from the middle of the pitch to the goal by 360 turn and mashing the sprint button on world class

so you consider that FIFA 2000 and 2001 are crap. i bet that you were among those who said that thess titles were great at some moment. Now it is 2002 that's best..who knows with the arrival of 2003 that might changed.

Passing much better in 2002...really? can you actually passed like those team that play attracting quick one touch and "in space" football in FIFA 2002?

Anyway you are a FIFA zombie afterall

I play the PC version. Try my way. You'll be surprised.

Passing is improved, but the problem is the CPU still pass like god, as if they still got the old automatic passing system. MAKE THEM PASS WORSE EA!

Actually, no. I played fifa 2002 and won like 5-0 on hard with no skill moves. Yep, thats right. Now what are you gonna say to that?

I've made this point before and I'm just going to repeat myself. The fact that you have to modify the way you play to make a game enjoyable means there is something wrong with the game. It is like saying that I wan't to play Half-life or Counter strike, and I say I want to get thru the most difficult map/scenario with only a pistol. The fact that moves are in the game is not really the problem. The way you are encouraged to use them is the problem.

In anygame, you are given some tools with which to work with. In good games, if you use the tools wisely they will benefit you greatly. If you use them unwisely, you will pay for it. In below par games, if you use the tools (period) they will benefit you greatly, this is where the problem is.
