People seem to have a lot of issues with spamming for requests and fights in the stadium threads, so I've just come up with a new rule. There should be no screens for any stadiums without accompanying download links in the same post. I've deleted all the stadium images from this thread as a test case. Progress screens and other similar blueberry techniques by stadium-makers who think they're better than the programmers at EA and then leave the forums as soon as they think someone rubs them the wrong way (not even intentionally or OT!) just create a lot of anger; the n00bs who get upset and cry for stadiums and the stadium-makers who get upset @ requests and comments. Such things aren't needed here.

Lastly, stadium-makers have the option to put [NO REQUESTS] in their thread title, much the same like other sceneassets editors, like kitmakers, bootmakers, facemakers etc. If stadium makers have a problem with requests from n00bs they should have the No Requests sign in their thread title before they start the thread, or if they decide later to not have requests; then they should ask the mods to change the title. If there are persistent, multiple requests in a thread with No Requests by a user for a stadium which is not in the plans of a stadium-maker with No Requests, they will be dealt with.

This thread is reopened.

Keegan has spoken to soccercrazy. I want to take the opportunity to settle some things to make sure things get back on track in this thread and for soccercrazy to feel comfortable with continuing to make his fantastic stadiums.

I'm going to mention again my position that it was a simple, honest mistake on my part to forget to ask him permission - that it wasn't deliberate - and that my locking of the thread was in response to him deleting everything and stating that he was never going to come back; not out of spite that he didn't want me to use his stadiums for a couple of teams which he is opposed to. My actions might look a certain way to him, an abuse of power; but I know myself why I did them, which I've just explained above. If he ever expressed his volition to come back, I would always reopen the thread for him, which I have now done.

I've never wanted to openly offend anyone with any content in my patches, nor deliberately avoid asking anyone about using their works for my patches. Again, I apologize to soccercrazy for forgetting to formally ask his permission; but I hope that he can see this as an unintentional mistake and not a deliberate action by me. I'm really looking forward to him releasing the San Mames and I hope that, now I have the chance to ask him properly; he will allow me to use it in another release of my patch with the Basque team included.

The most important thing is to have the largest number of stadium makers working towards the largest number of stadiums possible in the FIFA series. We can't afford stupid fights over users requesting stadiums, then other users defending the stadium-makers, then the stadium makers getting upset at having to read pages and pages of flame-wars. It's just stupid and unnecessary; with the worst outcome being that stadium-makers leave the forums. It's already happened once before with poliphemus and Superwagon - let's make sure that it doesn't happen again.

Welcome back, soccercrazy.

Welcome back, soccercrazy.

Umm i think there is a big confusion here I have spoken to Keegan yes but i never said I am gonna get back here.

As I told Keegan I prefer to stay in a place in where people treat me nicely and respect me and my work and so far this isn't the place.

I am sorry for the hopes this "reopening" caused to anybody but I am not getting back here.

No need to apology again Robbie, life is too short to worry about a forum.

Of course I will be making stads and they will be posted somewhere else and everybody is free to use them (no need to ask since after all everybody should know what is the right or wrong thing to do).

My last note is about a comment that says something like stadium makers think we are better than EA programmers. I don't feel better than anyone nor worst, I am an honest person that tries to help everyone that asks for help but also a person that doesn't need to be treaten like a piece of shit.

So farewell, I hope that things change here one day and I'll be very happy to join again and again sorry for the inconveniences created to the followers of my work and this thread.

Have fun and enjoy life, you never know what will happen in the next 10 seconds........

you make no sense, life is too short to worry about a forum but not too short to worry about credits.

sounds pathetic soccercrazy, not sure how robbie using your stadium's and forgetting to ask permission, then apologizing is treating you like shit.

the last thing robbie is about is trying to steal files for a game, i am sure he would say life is too short for that bullshit.

all the fault of an idiot

shut up erick, don't catch a lengthy temporary ban, robbie is a moderator
so watch what you say to and about him directly or indirectly.

this forum is not only for downloading files for FIFA, it is a community, if all you are here for is files maybe you shouldn't be here.
