Sort it out EA! we're not all ENGLISH

Does any1 else think that Euro 2004 is a poor excuse for a game, i cant believe they're charging £40 for basically an early BETA version of FIFA 2005. I dont know where to start, but i'll start with thwe commentary. I decided to go Latvia as they where the smallest nation at the Championships, managed to get them to the final where i played England(Surprise, Surprise). In the 88min it was 0-0 i had 15shots, they had 3 and the commentator twice said "Its England that looks the more likely" now i thought this was just because i was Latvia(a smaller nation) then i started again with France, played 21min, 0-0 again, 8shots for me, 1 shot for England once again "Its England that look the more likely". Also why is it that to play this game you have to pay £40 for the game then another £x amount to buy a Logitech controller because maybe (just maybe) you'll beable to do skill moves with it, so if youre one of the people that have just paid £20+ for a Saitek or any other controller other than a Logitech lately youre controller dont do SHI? in this game. Also what happened to the Player Runs when u used to press it, the circle with the 1 in it was usually one of your strikers, the 2 youre other striker and the 3 either one of youre wide players or you're attacking midfielder, now it brings up the 3 players closest to the man with the ball which totally eliminates switching the play quickly. I have so many things i could write about about this game but i'm gonna stop now, my final hope is that EA get they're finger out they're asses and make FIFA 2005 with as much dedication as they put into the American based games namely Madden, NHL and the NBA series because FIFA is the poor cousin compared to them.

Well I disagree that its a poor excuse. I agree about the price though and think this is the patched improved version of 2004, and this is wot 2004 should have been.
I hope this is not a beta version of 2005 because there is not enough here to make me wanna buy 2005. Knowing EA's efforts of 1 step forward and 2 or 3 back then I would definatley stick with this. 2005 better be good or I will play Euro for the next 2 years.

Anyways, if your not all English, I bet you wish you were!

well, euro 2004 is just fifa 2004 with a different interface pasted on it, still the same gameplay and bugs

no way, its way better. I was impressed by this game.

i think the graphics are the same no improvements and a little change in the gameplay, that's the difference between the two games........still i won't buy euro 2004, i'll wait for fifa 2005(hope it will be the best ea game so far)

If you can stand to wait that long then thats probably the best thing to do. I love this game though. The only thing that bothers me is that there was a different developement team making euro 04 than fifa 04. Hopefully the developement team that makes 05 (same as euro) wont screw up the game.
