I see many ppl are using d/l tactics.. This i not rite. Use your OWN tactics. Using somebody elsez tactics is ok, but not all the time...

I never downloaded any tactics. I try with formations, till I found one. This is how it should be You won't see Fergusn downloading a tactic for ManU

Sure he will, he copies tactics like all trainers, and adjusts his team and the tactic to make the big picture work.

you're right alex, but all im saying is some of Gareths tactics where amazing, i didnt use them, i created my own, but they were fantastic. You could barelly lose with them.

I now have 3 tactics (MY tactics) and I use 1 every season, coz I dont want the game to crack my tactics. This trick works well for me.

Ive never used Gareths tactics but ive just seen some of the screenies like that 10 or 11-0 win over Barca by Westham

Yes, well, Gareth's tactics were all designed for West Ham, so if you want to be completely sure they work in your game, use West Ham.

I use a 4-1-3-2 with Blackburn....

Team - Hard Tackling, Counter Attack, Zonal Marking


DR: Forward Run, Run With Ball, Cross Ball, Stand Off [Normal]
DL: Forward Run, Run With Ball, Cross Ball, Stand Off [Normal]
DC: Ultra Defensive, Stand Off.
DC: Ultra Defensive, Stand Off.

DMC: Close Down Own Half Only, Through Ball, Hold Up Ball [Defensive]
MC: Through Ball, Close Down Own Half Only [Defensive]
MC: Through Ball, Close Down Own Half Only [Defensive]
MC: Through Ball, Close Down Own Half Only [Defensive]

FC: Forward Run, Run With Balls, Close Down Always [Gung Ho]
FC: Forward Run, Run With Balls, Close Down Always [Gung Ho]

That is the defensive version which I use most, attacking involves Attacking full backs, and the MC's on Normal.

iv got a 4-4-2. attackin formation. zonal markers but got 2 central def on man mark and ultra defensive. got my mids all forward running and my wingers to cross in. my strikers are on gung ho setting. and my closing down is in my half only. its not bad but i dont really hav the quality players at the moment but im doin ok with it.................

is your defence DR - DC- DL or DC- DC -DC ??

It's DC-DC-DC, but the left and right DC have an arrow to DR and DL, if you know what I mean
