Just got to posting this.

My brother was playing soccer. First half score:
brother: 0
Other team: 8

Final:
Brother: 3
Other: 11

And my mother thought it was a close game because they stopped keeping score at 3! :boohoo:

What the f*** are you talking about? .....Your brother was his own team playing against a full squad? Perhaps your mom was being supportive of your brother instead of crushing his morale.

whats your point homes? i lost some games with pretty big scores, well it was because our goalie wasnt there, happens to everyone though. anyway i think this should be in your carreer forum.

What I meant was Brother = Brother's soccer team. I was to lazy to type it out. No. Se couldn't see the goals (stupid indoor thing) and she relied on the scorebored. I saw all the goals.

so guys, omg look at how pathetic this is, my brother k, his team got owned in indoor, and my mom, who doesn't really know whats going on thought the game was close, i dont kno what she was thinking, like it was 11-3 man, thats pure ownage right there, no chance of anything yet she still thinks it was a close game, isnt my mom pathetic?

I gotta agree with you Santino. Anyway i think this guy is whining coz his own team lost 20-0 & 5 of them were own goals that he scored while his bro scored the 3 in his match. Sibling rivalry.....sigh....... :p

It was probably an U14 or U12 game as well, if the officials were allowed to stop keeping score. Last game i officiated (Girls U14) in ended 7-0, outdoor. Was it pathetic? No, the team with 7 goals had one amazing player who scored a hat trick after 10 minutes, then dropped back and played defensive midfield to secure the shutout, managing to score one more from defense and set up one more.

At that level, it only takes one exceptionally good player to drastically alter the scoreline. That's why they don't tend to keep score, especially when it's not close.
