The Wizard's Stadiums - Stadio Brianteo RELEASE (#2467)

Hi all, I know we already have a great version of the SSC Napoli stadium thanks to @humbertoaze, but I wanted to mix @D5ouglas version (with some updates) with humbertoaze's exterior for my personal use and I'm pretty happy with the result. Is there any interest in the stadium? Then I would release it.

YES!! Do you have other stadiums in mind wizard? I would love to see the new versions of Ibrox and Celtic Park, but I know it takes a long time to convert. Thanks for all your work Wizard. Big hug!

A longer time ago I tried to convert some of these PES 2021 stadiums but they are so complex that I hadn't success. My biggest problem is that there are too many meshes so I can't bake the parts properly and if I divide them in more parts, then there are too much parts and my game can't handle it properly. I don't know if @D5ouglas for example has an advice here.

Hi bro, there's not much to do, it's a lot of work. I do the following, import the stadium, add all the parts, and import it into the FIFA 15 template. and then export the materials.

What I do is to export the stadium in .dae, import together with fifa 15 template, rename all the Uvmaps to map0, then join the new objects with the same texture. If the object joined will have more than 10k faces, I have to split them to have less than 10k (after tri to quads move). I also have to replace dds by pngs. Than that’s it, the rest is the same as any other stadium.

If you don't have to edit the dds you don't even need to convert them into png. :) The textures appear correctly in the game. Well, at least in FIFA 14. But overall I convert it differently, because I want to check if there are double meshes of flipped faces. I import the model in Rhino and edit it there. Just Blender is not my main program I'm working on and don't know all of it's tools.

When I tried to export with dds directly the textures were all messed up. Maybe it’s a F16 thing. But anyways it’s not a big problem anymore since I made a script that does it automatically

What this script does? Converts the textures and re-applies them to the objects?

You have to convert outside, but then I use dds converter, it converts all in a click. All png must be saved inside textures folder together with the dds. Than it’s just use the script, it will replace all dds by png with the same name.

Cool! That would speed up the process a lot. Thanks!
