As everyone has noticed in the addboard threads there are always some people who don't know how to install adboards well I decided I will help those people out and make a tutorial. This is detailed so you will find me saying things like click Ok and stuff this is so no one gets lost in the tutorial.
NOTE: THIS WILL DESTROY YOUR CURRENT MANAGER MODE OR THE SEASON MODE BECAUSE IT CHANGES YOU DATA BASE. DO THIS AT YOU OWN RISK.
What you need:
CM10
an add-board
FIFA 10 (of course)
How to get an add-board from the thread:
Some people notice there is no download link, this is because you don't need one. To get the add-board right click on the image and click on 'Save Picture As...' then save it to a folder.
I have an add-board now what?
OK you have an adboard. Normally there should be 3 for a team. Once you have all three open up CM10. In CM10 go to the taskbar going along the top select 'Open - Select all'. A box will come up select your root folder for FIFA 10 then click 'OK'. It should now ask you to open your main database. This is located in C![:\](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/vb/fslash.gif ":\ :\")
Program Files\EA SPORTS\FIFA 10\data\cmn then select the file called fifa now click 'OK'. Next it will ask for your Language. It has the enitials of every language in FIFA 10. Select 'eng' and click 'Open'. After this it will take a tiny bit to load (if it says not responding don't close it, sometimes it does this but it's still loading). When it finishes click on the icon on the coloured top that is the 'Barcelona' logo. Now there should be a team open if you haven't modded your game it will be 1.FC Brno. On the panel that has just opened under the coloured icons click on the area that has the team name. A list will come down, find the team you want and click it. After this the team you selected should come up. On the bottom pane there is a tab called 'adboards' and has an icon of a 'Coke' logo, click this. There should now be an image of a the default adboard. Now if you want to replace your default add-boards don't do this, of you don't do this. in the area at just above the adboards is a number this number will vary depending on which team you chose although it doesn't matter which number it is. For me the end of the Default add-boards if 33 yours may be differant for some known reason. If this is the case the end of the defaults is when the area where the add-board pictures where turns grey. Now if you want to replace your default add-boards resume here. After you have done this select the picture of an icon that has a red arrow pointing left. NOTE!!! this is not the top one but the ones under it the one at the top is for .fsh files you hopefully have a .bmp or .png. Select this icon it is under all of the grey squares where the picture of the add-board is/used to be. It will open a box. Find the addboard picture and click on it, then click 'open'. The add-board picture should come up where the add-board/blank box was. Do this for all of the boxes. After this click the floppy disk image to the left of the add-board number. This saves you add-board work. Now you may have finished but those add-boards will only work in 'The Season' and 'Manager Mode'. If you want it in the 'Quick Match mode' (or whatever it is called) you need to do this again. This time though go to the number box to the right of where you just saved and put it to 99 (this is 'Quick Play's' add-board's). NOTE!!! this is the only box you can save and it will replace your default, you can save the image by clicking the 'Export Image' button on them all (this is the icon of the green arrow pointing right) then save it to the location of your choice. Now after you have done this once again click the red arrow pointing left and import the add-board's you want for 'Quick Play' mode. Once you have done this save by clickin the floppy disk image you used to save before. After you have done this right at the top click on the taskpane click the 'File' tab where you clicked before to select the files at the start. Once it has come down click the save button now close CM10 and start FIFA then Enjoy!!!
