Two Problems

I am using a logitech dual action wired gamepad, but the players do not move in all the 360 degree directions (east Northeast, etc). they only move the same way as would the keyboard controls.
is this part of the game or is it my controller?

my second problem is in manager mode, when two teams ask to buy the same player from me, the symbols for the transfers are messed up. at the bottom it says "reject" but the symbol beside the player name is a checkmark. when i "reject" both offers, there is a message saying "you cannot accept multiple offers of the same player". how do i fix this cuz now im not sure how to actually sell them either because of this.

That is a limitation of the game engine (and a rather annoying one) and applies to FIFA 08 too.

The symbol next to the player name is the current status of the bid (either a cross for rejected, a tick for accepted or an up arrow to ask for more money) whilst the legend on the button shows you what selecting the option (again) will do. You cannot accept, or ask for more money, for two different offers for the same player, but you can reject both.
