USB Controller Problem

Everytime i plug in a controller and start the match the game crashes. It works fine until i start the match, i'm able to select sides and navigate through the menus ok. I'm using a logitech wingman gamepad and have applied the latest patch. I've followed the gamepad tutorial and that didn't work either. I've also tried using a ps2 controller but the same thing happens.

The game works fine if i use the keyboard.

I have the same problem. using a saitek 880 or a wigman.
I can use the keyboard and it will work fine. I have EA's patch on and that's it.

same here, i tried it before and after applying the patch and still couldn't get it to work, surely someone must have found a way of fixing this problem.

Have you installed any new Codec packs ??
Mine used to work and i reformatted some time ago, reinstalled the game and it didn't work. All i CAN think of is codecs.
