Ick, I can't get it to work.

I'm using the "trial" version as well and tried to use alcohol 120% but it didnt help. I don't know what to do.

I can see all of the stuff when looking at the fixed w/ weeditor but it won't play without a crack.. too bad.

Interesting.. it's working for me but the mini map has disappeared and I havn't been able to find a way to re-enable it.

If you're referring to the in-game rader, you re-enable it in the 'screen settings' option when you pause the game during a match.

@the wolf: can you tell me, how you converted the patch from pes3-version to we7i? I mean, I want to do the same thing with the UEFA CL Megapatch, but I don't know, how to convert the bin-files of the kits, stadiums, menus, scoreboards etc. Is it necessary to export all the bitmaps from the modified pes3-files and import them one by one into the new bins of we7i or is there another way to convert the graphic files to the new game?

A number of the .bin files for the uniforms do need resizing as the slot allocations are different in the .AFS in WE7:I. Also, the adboards have an extra file which needs to be changed otherwise importing your old adboards won't work. The stadiums, I'm pretty sure I didn't have to resize. The shoe slots are different though so you may need to get Sammi to make a special pack based upon your personal preferences. There are so many shoe packs out there now I didn't bother importing any as it's a quick process for other people to do if they want to. The menu and scoreboards files are the same size as before.

Pretty much, you do have to go through all the files one by one though, it takes a good few hours but it's worth it and make sure you test everything by looking at it in-game.

I looked at FileFront earleier today and noticed that the WE7:I EPL&CL patch has been downloaded 2,995 times in 8 days! I'm glad FileFront hosts these files, that would have been some hefty bandwidth costs for me on my old site.

Gives the lowest estimate too at how many people at least already have the game!

Wolf, excellent work as always.

A quick question for anyone who knows....

What specifically am I missing out on by not being able to use the WE7.exe included with this patch?

I am forced to use the NO-CD hack due to my laptop DVD/CD reader not being able to authenticate the CD when the .exe is run.

I've imported the kits and the option file, and everything looks great. All the team names are now correct. So what's in the WE7.exe?

Also, I'm going to be going through and fixing all the collars with the current kits. Is there an easy way to make those changes available to the community after I'm done? Like with a patch that folks can easily apply through one of the editing utilities?

@wolf: first of all, thx for the quick reply . you said, some of the files need resizing, do I have to resize the data_e.afs(it would be very easy using afs extract) or do I have to resize all the bin-files one by one?

You know that you can't change the number part of the savegame, right??

As I said, I had your same problem, and reinstalling did work for me too. But after playing a few matches and saving again I got the same error. So I tried reinstalling again, but this time it didn't work
I'd hate going back to PES3 :_(

I haven't managed to dl this thru FileFront. I had the previous patch and Latvia had the Hungary kit and Middlesboro had the Stuttgart kit. Doesn anyone have any idea where I can get them correctly?
