this happened in a game when i was playing my career with westham when playing against newcastle couldnt beleive it wasnt called a goal just thought id share...

That bug has been in since day 1 and was never fixed, it happens on some free kicks only and no it doesn't count as a goal... hopefully it's fixed in 07.

Not only on freekicks.. i think that when the keeper have the ball in his hands the game don't think it's a goal :fool:

It's like when the keeper jumps up and hit the ball to the ground, even if he don't have control over it so can't i take the ball of him... Its really bad i think !

In World cup 2006 they have a new animation so if the goalie drops the ball it will be loose then he pounces in it again but whilst it is loose you can get too it. I scored a goal during that animation the other day.

That happened to me too... twice overall.... doesn't feel great when an obvious goal is, in a way, disallowed and doesn't it make you feel so happy when you really needed the goal!!! No?... Me neither.... EA fix this please or i will hunt you all down and shake my head at each one of you!!! Be Afraid!

Happens to me as well since day 1, Life goes on, get over with it, There's other ways of winning matches.

i had the opposite happen 2me!! Playin with a fresh copy of fifa. Man U vs Arsenal. Ruud heads it wide of the goal yet it is ruled a goal!!

I scored a goal that wasn't a goal once. My striker put the ball just wide of the post, but then reeled away in celebration, and it counted! :rockman:

lol, so true

i had this happened to me once during a cross and my striker head the ball from near post and wide off far post, but its still counted, but i was happy cuz thats the goal i desperately needed to qualify for some competition LOL :D
