What will not be in FIFA2003.

I’m - EA undercover programmer.
I know what the new features will be in FIFA2003 and what will not.
So, there will not be one-knob team formation changing during the game, any fouls will be prohibited, no creation center, no leagues, no championship, no training mode and even friendly game will be removed. There will be only one team with one player.
AI CPU and gameplay will be extremely improved. Any shot will get to score (of course, from the CPU part). The game will start and right now finish with CPU win. The difference will be only one – how much CPU score. There will be only one difficulty level and a new feature UNRESPONSIBLE PLAYER with completely out of the human control.
There will be additional 5 CD’s box with bonus material including video, articles and interview about – how EA is great company all over the world and why ppl really like this licensed **** … sorry, I meant Super B stuff.
It goes without saying, that graphics will be excellent. With proud I may tell - u’ll get ability to see even native spot on the player’s ***.
In short that’s all, if some want details – just ask. With my honest I’ll (may be not personally me, on this forum at least two ppl from EA) answer on any your question, because the slogan – customer is always wrong… pardon, meant stupid…well, doesn’t matter.

P.S.
Personally, I like shot the bricks, but one of my friends saw a couple football matches on the TV and told me. That’s why I got knowledge of this game and was pointed to work out FIFA2003.

what do you mean they're leaving all this out, thta means theres nothing to do apart from international matches ie WC2002. as if tthey are leaving league teams out. The creation centre i can understand but that leaves nothing else, it makes no sense you must be taking the piss.

For instance, they could become invisible! Just imagine this: Ronaldo picks the ball at midfield, DISAPPEARS from opponent eyes, and reappeas at the penalty spot, surounded by a flaming fire ball, and, with a nice left foot touch, scores from Inter against Milan. Afterwards, he goes celebrate near the Milan's fan (which, by the way, are in extasis) and disappear againg, appearing again at midfield. This certainly would be an impoorvement to the gameplay, and make the game MUCH MORE REALISTIC!!!

First of all I’ve to say that idea of invisible player is EXCELENT!
I will put it in the FIFA 2003, but why only one player - Ronaldo?
I’m sure all players should be invincible, especially goalkeeper. So, we will discuss it with my partners – programmers and remember - we try to be to realistic football as close as possible.

Ugh!!!!!!!!!! can my defender cast root? I think defenders should be spellcasters, I d send a warrior and a paladin up front, and maybe a couple of support fellas like rangers, clerics and archers to the midfield...........this would be soooooooooooooo great.

I have no idea about the goalkeeper.....I have to figure something out, maybe he could be an ugly troll or a goblin...but I think goblins are too short.

1-space field with alien players...

2-vehicles for players to drive during the games and weapons to fire on opponents.

3-bring back the 360 spin and improve AI!!!

4- cancel defenders from the game as they dont do nothin anyways....

5- remove the offside rule since the CPU passes and scores before u even switch the cursor to the neares player..

6- make it $80 a copy....

7- REMOVE THE CHOICE OF A HUMAN PLAYERS SINCE ITS BEEN DROPPIN......

Now come on guys, be fair. EA has kept in the good things from previous Fifa's. The way when the CPU striker attacks your defence and you try to switch players you get your striker instead of the last defender and by the time you get him he has run away from the ball, the way that when you win the ball the control instantly switches to another player running away from the ball (that might be a new one actually), your striker wins the ball and now needs to leg it and he will be one on one with the keeper but he stands there for a few seconds before you get anymore control over him allowing the defender to recover (sorry, that might be a new one too) or he runs as fast as Lauren Blanc after he has beat the last man, get a shot directly at your keeper and he flaps weekly at the ball or when a ball comes in the air he can be found heading for the burger stand. This adds to the enjoyment of the game. Why would you want it to be so unrealistic so that it gives you the same advantages as it does the CPU. EA spends at least 4 months writing these games then 2 months with the champanzees play testing them intime for them to start the next episode.

Ok, there are too much ideas and all of them are attractive.
The best – 80$ per copy. It is – excellent.
So far, to avoid any misunderstandings, I’d like to suggest the new principal of FIFA2003 trading.
U pay in advance 100$ per CD, but u’ll not get the game anymore, no wonder, u’ll start complaining again (gameplay is bad, blablabla…). So, solution is – pay another 100$ for FIFA2004 and just wait for improvements.

P.S.

Funny this - the head of the FIFA production team has been the one in charge since FIFA 99, which ironically was when the FIFA games were going sh*t. I think he should be made the scapegoat for FIFA being the butt of everyone's jokes.

FIFA 2003 is going to suck and it's six months away from release. I bloody know it!

the argentinian league. Just when i got got fifa 98 for nintendo 64 i thought that the argentiniania legue wasn't in it because it wasn't one of the best leagues in the world. But then why was the swedish league or some asian leagues?
