Whats So Great?,
Hello Every1,I am a footie fan from India and after hearing so many PES/WE fans i had to write this.As I am in India(where the gaming culture is still just catching on) the only football sim i have access to is FIFA,i played the FIFA 04 Demo and was disgusted with it(I have FIFA 03).I admit that FIFA 03 was a blunder,and maybe 04 is also one,but i would like to knwo what better can u get than FIFA?Is the Gameplay in PES so good?Whats so good about it?Does PES have the different leagues,does it have english league?(i ask this because all screenshots are of the international matches).Well I would have liked to buy PES3 but i cant cos its not available in INDIA and to make things worse Konami give out a DVD?So bad,most of us here dont have a DVD Drive as it costs a fortune(and i can afford PS2 only after i start earning).So atleats please tell me whats so great in the gameplay in PES3 that all of u cant stop raving about it?How much better can u get than a FIFA,og\f course PES will also have some howlers and it cant be perfect,explain me wats so good about it(i havent played it anytime) and maybe..maybe i will buy a PS2(will cost a fortune for me though) and then maybe i will buy the PES3 Game from UK.........The Review at SG made me even more curious when it said that PES3 was the closest thing to playing real football.

Let`s just put it this way :
PES developers put more concerns about how the game really should be played rather than busy travellin` around Europe to get a highly detailed 3D build of player`s teeth . . . And, yeah PES developers know that there are left footed players in Serie-A

go to www.metacritic.com, type in Winning Eleven or Pro Evolution Soccer, and read the many reviews...

in PES you can duplicate what you see on TV, the plays, the break-aways, something I never could do in FIFA, I don't know how else to explain it, I'm sorry you're not able to get it, but if you said you got the FIFA 04 demo, why don't you get the PES3 demo...from www.proevolutionline.com or www.socceracess.com....

Hell,Do I need to have a gamepad and dual shock converter to play PES3?(I read it in almost all the reviews) or can i play it with my keyboard?The Demo is 220 MB that is also a deterring factor,i will download it though if i can play it with my keyboard.Waiting for your reply.Thanx

yea you can play with your keyboard..afterall its for your PC , you can also use gamepads....don't let the 220 MB scare you, but you don't have broadband do you? you will be able to edit the demo to your liking afterwards...

I heard in many of the reviews that it requires a gamepad and playing with keyboard is tough and stuff like that(metacritic.com->PES3 Review),Hey Do you know whether it supports NVidia Riva TNT2?I really need a break from FIFA....lets's see.R u online?If u want u can add me to ur yahoo list(sandeepkj41).Thanx .

1. a TNT2 will not work, it requires at least a GeForce 4.
2. Yes, I play with a keyboard, its not that bad, kinda like FIFA's buttons..
3. Editing is not hard, you just download utilities like ASF explorer and follow instructions on how to import files..go to www.proevolutionline.com and click on the editing tutorial...
4. Sorry I don't have Yahoo, but I'm not on my computer right now...
5. I'll have to read metacritic's review to see what they say....

Yes yes u guy r lucky with all the butter gadgets dat u have the PS2s and stuff.I spent a fortune on TNT2 3 years ago and havent seen a PS2 till now.But things shud change as soon as i get a job and my first salary!!!!!!!!!

What is an XPort?and what is a modded/chipped PS2?The PC Demo of PES3 is still downloading,which are the patches to be applied such that i can increase the time and play against any team?Will the other work if i apply a patch before another?

Guess wat??I got a great job.The first 6 months is training,i can buy a PS2 now!!.I will try the PES PC version though.I think i'll buy a PS2 because it would cost less than upgrading my PC.Hey I can patch the PS2 Cd's isnt it?Is it the same way as in AnnaMorphis's tutorial?Hey wats a modded/chipped PS2?Please reply,thanx

That way you can evaluate it first hand like I did. Still don't think it is any better than FIFA 2004, just different, with some decent aspects, but some really poor ones as well.
