What's Wrong???????

I get a problem when I am using Access Editor.

I am now updating the German Bundesliga,so I use Access Editor to choose Mainz and Freiburg to from Second Division to first division. Then I install the package and start a season of German Division 1. All things run properly.

But after the season, the problem comes.

I find a team calls "Freiburg" and another calls "Mainz" promote to Division 1.At first I do not mention it.But later I find all points that "Freiberg" and "Mainz" get goes to Freiberg and Mainz and Freiberg get the champion because she gains extra marks.

What's wrong with it?I have delete Freiberg and Mainz from German Division 2 and I replace them with 1860 and Cottubus.

But what's wrong with it?

Who can help me? Thanks a lot.:rockman:

I can help with pretty much anything Access-related.... this sounds very odd though... are you editing individual records in the Federation table or using Access forms?

I use the access form and just delete the link up in those 4 teams.:)

Of course,I have added the link up to link freiberg and Mainz to German Division 1 and 1860 and Cottubus to Division 2.But also I delete Freiberg and Mainz from Rest of World and replace them with 1860 and Cottubus.

What have I done in the Federation Table?

I just rename some of the leagues.

Still kinda confused here. It sounds as if what you're doing should be working.... I've never encountered this kind of problem with teams/leagues. You're 100% certain that in the Federation table, the correct teams are listed for each German league?

For your question,my answer is:yes.:(

But the other problem is even stranger...:(

I play the Spanish League (Never edit teams in Spanish League, just using the database of the edited German League)

And I use Alaves to play.

When I play the EFA match,I face Man Utd.And I save the game.

The next day,I load the save, the facing team becomes Aston Villa!

Then I load once more,it becomes West Ham,Leeds United,Sunderland...etc.

What wrong with it?:(

I've analysed the situation and undertaken a professional diagnostic of what is going on. The technical term for the problem you have with the rosters is "they are f--ked" ;)

Seriously though, I'd like to help get this fixed. If you can send me a copy of the database, I'll have a look. Send it as a zip to [email protected] - but make sure you delete all forms/queries etc in the version you send me, as this will decrease the filesize drastically (I'm on a dial-up modem so big files aren't good)...

I've sent out the database.

But after deleting thr queries and forms, the file size doesn't reduce. :kader:

The file size is around 5 Mb.

The version you sent me doesn't work - I get a blank access window with 'Access Editor 2003' as the title, and nothing else - no tables etc. Don't know what's wrong - you might be using a different version of Access or something, I don't know :(
