Where are those minimum release fee clauses?

I guided Rennes to the championship and I wante a new challenge which would be a Hamburg who needs my help. I want to raid my old club for its best players and I offered new contracts with minimum release fee clauses which were all signed. On 1 June 2007, I officially joined Hamburg and I tried to buy those players, there was no such clause. Why is this?

you have to scout them, the scout will discover the min release clause, if you dont discover it, they dont have to accept it.

I find it a stupid new thing, if you approach a club, and the player wants to move to you, his agent will surely approach you and give the minimum release clause

That's the dumbest thing they have ever implemented. A club HAS to accept a transfer above the minimum fee release clause regardless of if the club knows about it. How does me knowing or not knowing about a release clause change whether or not there IS a release clause?

maybe the club dosen't tell the player about the offer and just rejects it
