I did manage to get a young Argentine striker from Indepente once. He was amazing but never got into my team so I had to sell him because of him not playing enough games

Managed to make a £6m profit though :D

i've been chasing adu and howard for a year and a half  hopefully i'll get them this summer. it's weird cause no one else is trying to get adu.....usually all the big teams are trying to get him midway through the first season, but in 2004 i'm the only one..........:crazyboy:

Work Permit rejected, I appealed, rejected. I offered him a contnract on the next day, he accepted and this time he got the permit :monkey:

Name him! :rockman: I'm building my Fiorentina youth team up, the clubs future, I could do with as much reinforcements as possible. cheers.

Now on-topic.

Work Permits are a PAIN in the arse(ass :p) If your a British Club, Plus by the time you sign him, the deadlines go past.

For example, I once try to get Ronaldinho, by the time he gets given a work permit, its too late to add him to my side for Europe and I have to wait till January, which is a real pain.

I'm in a spot of bother with a work permit.. Brett Emerton's contract runs out at the end of the season, and he hasn't played enough games to get a new one :( I've just started playing him as Keane's replacement, and his value has gone from £13m to £21m in a couple of months, and he's got 8 or higher every game, so i really want to keep him!

I think I'm gonna have to release him then try and sign him back, and hopefully his international appearances will allow me to re-sign him.

That should be ok.

Obviously at £21m that kind of a player will be attracting attention from large clubs.

yeah and he'll probably dislike me for releasing him... oh well fingers crossed.. i'll have to sign vieira if he won't rejoin.

I dunno if you and Alex read my post right. I meant that, even though Africa is obviously non-EU, nowhere near Europe infact, I still have no problem getting work permits for them for some reason while as I can hardly ever get work permits for players from European countries which aren't in the EU.
